• National (Merit) scholarship for students of degree classes whose parents income per month is Rs. 1000/- or less.
• National (Loan) scholarship for students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• National scholarship for children of school teachers.
• Scholarship for the physically handicapped i.e. blind, deaf or orthopaedically handicapped students.
• Scholarship to students from non-hindi speaking states for degree class students.
• Residential and nonresidential state scholarships for students belonging to backward communities
• Residential and nonresidential state scholarship for students belonging to S.C., S.T. or those converted from hinduism to christianity.
• Scholarship for the children of political sufferers.
• Tamilnadu harijan welfare (loan) scholarship for residential S.C. and S.T. students.
• Pondichery state post-matric scholarship for students who had their school education in pondichery state.
• Scholarship for students of anglo-Indian community studying in degree classes.
• Scholarship for physically handicapped students who are natives of tamilnadu whose parents' income does not exceed Rs.12,000/- per annum.
• Scholarship for honours and postgraduate studies in arabic awarded by U.G.C. purely on the basis of merit.
• Muslim Educational Association of Southern India(MEASI) scholarship awarded to poor and deserving muslim students studying in U.G. and P.G. courses.

Students are eligible for only one of the above scholarships.

All scholarship and concessions are liable for forfeiture for irregularity in attendance, unsatisfactory progress in studies and indiscipline.
