Scholorships |
| The following Scholarships are available. |
- National (Merit) scholarship for students of degree classes whose parents income per month is Rs. 1000/- or less.
- National (Loan) scholarship for students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- National scholarship for children of school teachers.
- Scholarship for the physically handicapped i.e. blind, deaf or orthopaedically handicapped students.
- Scholarship to students from non-hindi speaking states for degree class students.
- Residential and nonresidential state scholarships for students belonging to backward communities
- Residential and nonresidential state scholarship for students belonging to S.C., S.T. or those converted from hinduism to christianity.
- Scholarship for the children of political sufferers.
- Tamilnadu harijan welfare (loan) scholarship for residential S.C. and S.T. students.
- Pondichery state post-matric scholarship for students who had their school education in pondichery state.
- Scholarship for students of anglo-Indian community studying in degree classes.
- Scholarship for physically handicapped students who are natives of tamilnadu whose parents' income does not exceed Rs.12,000/- per annum.
- Scholarship for honours and postgraduate studies in arabic awarded by U.G.C. purely on the basis of merit.
- Muslim Educational Association of Southern India(MEASI) scholarship awarded to poor and deserving muslim students studying in U.G. and P.G. courses.

Students are eligible for only one of the above scholarships. |
All scholarship and concessions are liable for forfeiture for irregularity in attendance, unsatisfactory progress in studies and indiscipline. |
