On 22nd october 1987,The New college institute of management was established by the Muslim Educational Association of Southern India(MEASI) to impart training in different disciplines of management with emphasis on practical application suited to indian environmental and management requirements.

The New College Institute of Management functions in a modern building with air conditioned classrooms,boardroom,staffrooms and office with modern furniture and all facilities.An ultra modern mini auditorium is a new addition to the NCIM.The course offered is M.B.A (fulltime and part time).It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to University of Madras and is also Accredited by National Board of Accredition and an ISO 9001-2000 Certified.

The New college institute of management's academic records are excellent over the years together.It has produced gold medals and ranks both in the full-time and part-time MBA programs.It has been producing 100% results almost every year.Students of the institute have been actively taking part in inter-collegiate management meets conducted by various business-schools and have brought laurels.More than 75% of the students have been placed in various companies through the placement cell of the institute every year.
